You can find drumsticks, brushes, and probably a set of hot rods, or "bamboo rods", in most drummers' stick bags. But with this sublime weapon from Palisso, a new and important product has been added to the category of "essentials" - things you must have in your stick bag.
Fantastic Sound
Palisso's BKS (Brush KombiSoft) sound like a dream and are also very comfortable to use.
Crudely put, Palisso BKS sound like a well used set of hot rods (bamboo rods) the week before you throw them out. However, this is because hot rods rarely sound very good at first. The more you use them, the better they sound, and then they die...
With Palisso BKS you get the cool sound from day one. They are brilliant when you have to play with low volume but do not want to compromise on sound quality.
Palisso Kombi Soft Find the Right Position Automatically
Because the rattan "hair" is spread out, you might think it would be important to make sure that the sticks are turned the correct side up. This is not the case, however. The brush automatically turns itself when you play so that it is in the correct position.
The rubber ring on the handle allows you to adjust the spread of the rattan "hair". By positioning the ring at the tip of the stick, the hair are held together tightly.
A true "must have" product for all drummers of any level.
