Here you'll find the different products that we sell from Palisso.
Palisso is a Polish company specializing in the production of high-quality rods and brushes. Their products stand out due to their unique characteristics, such as length, balance, and tone. They sound simply fantastic right out of the packaging, unlike traditional bamboo rods that require a fair amount of breaking in.
A clever feature is the included rubber ring, which allows you to adjust the spread of the fan. This gives you control over how the sticks feel, respond, and sound. By narrowing the spread, you can achieve a rod with an impressive musical tone and a delightful playability.
Palisso Percussion was founded in 1989 by the Polish drummer Adam Polachowski as a result of the changes that followed the fall of communism in Eastern Europe.
In the beginning, the company produced wooden sports toys as well as small musical instruments and accessories. However, a significant change occurred with the International Percussion Art Festival in Bydgoszcz. Here, Professor John Beck, President of the Percussive Arts Society, delivered speeches, presentations, and discussions that had a tremendous impact on Palisso's future.
During one of his presentations, John Beck spoke about how long he had been searching for good, lightweight mallets. This inspired Adam to create such a product.
Although many small companies producing handcrafted mallets and other types of percussion tools, such as hammers, brushes, and rods, have been founded in recent years, there is still much to be desired.
Palisso has a vision to fill this gap. The main goal is to develop entirely new products based on natural raw materials, such as prefabricated bamboo, specifically rattan.
Today, the company produces over 10 types of rods, brushes, and drumsticks, which are not only distinguished by their ergonomic design and durability but also by creating a whole new spectrum of sounds.
At CymbalONE, we have handpicked some of Palisso's very best products – you can find them here on this site.
