Here we have one of the slightly drier rides in the shop – but still with plenty of resonance.

Essentially, this cymbal has a semi-dry attack, as the top is unlathed, and only the underside has been treated. Tonally, the cymbal leans a bit towards the brighter side, which is due to its weight and curvature – it weighs exactly 2252 grams. This gives it good volume, extra articulation, and… sound! Yet, there’s always a nice underlying layer of resonance that carries your playing forward.

The decay curve is relatively flat, meaning the cymbal rings with you the whole way and takes a little longer to fade out. This provides a rich sound in the overall mix.

A lovely, great-sounding, and semi-dry ride cymbal that you can use for pretty much any style.
