Big Fat Snare Drum - Halo Ring 14"

With the Halo Ring from Big Fat Snare Drum, you can easily transform the sound of your snare drum. The Halo Ring gives you an awesome tambourine sound for your snare drum simply by putting the ring on top of the drum head. The sound is then produced by a single stroke of your drumstick! It is almost an overdub which is pretty handy if you want to "fatten" up your snare drum sound while adding a bit of tambourine.

The Halo Ring has 10 sets of steel bells (5 on each side). These 10 bells produce the classic tambourine effect while the ring helps dampening the snare drum. Furthermore, the ring softens up the sound and gives you a nice mix of snare drum and tambourine.

At the bottom of the ring there is a small carving. This makes it easier to lift up the Halo Ring when you are done using it.

The Halo Ring can be used along with Triple Flanged Hoops, Die Cast Hoops, Single Flanged Hoops (vintage hoops), DW True Hoops, Stick Saver Hoops, Tree Hoops, and S-Hoops.
