About Tackle Instrument Supply

Tackle Instrument Supply was founded by Scott McPherson in Portland, Oregon in 2011, but now operates from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Having toured the world as a drummer for Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, She & Him, Beck, and many others, Scott experienced firsthand how frequently drum cases failed him. Recognizing the need for durable drum cases that could withstand heavy use while capturing the timeless look of his old favorite drum cases, Scott took matters into his own hands. All products are designed by Scott with the needs of working musicians in mind.
