If you would like to convert your cymbal into a sizzle ride, but may not be quite ready to drill the holes necessary for using rivets, then take a look here.
Although cymbal sizzlers are no new concept as such, No Nuts from the USA still managed to improve a bit on the concept when they developed their take on the product - The SizzleNut.
The first thing you notice about SizzleNut is the color. The SizzleNut has a nice brass finish as well as a nice warm sound when it rattles and dances on your cymbal. The chain thus mixes very well acoustically with the cymbal.
A unique feature of No Nuts SizzleNut is that you can adjust the length of the chain. All it takes is that you use No Nuts Cymbal Sleeves on your cymbal stand.
It works by spooling (turning) the anchor part of the SizzleNut until you have the desired length of the chain.
Once you havethat, press your SizzleNut down over the conically shaped Cymbal Sleeve, which locks it and prevents the chain from slipping back. Smart!
Note that you must use Cymbal Sleeves for this purpose. Also note that you can easily use SizzleNuts without Cymbal Sleeves from No Nuts, but thereby simply lose the ability to adjust the length of the chain.
