This model is made to sit on your hihat stand, so that you can completely get rid of a separate hihat microphone stand on the floor. The holder is mounted on the stand - under the cymbals - and the arm goes up far enough for your hihat microphone to sit where it should.

A huge advantage of this microphone holder is that the microphone moves with you if you adjust the position of your hihat stand.

How to mount your Mic Holder for hihat

1. Open the clamp on the lower part of the microphone holder
2. Mount the clamp / tube on your hihat stand
3. Now insert the rod with your Mic Holder into the tube
4. Tighten the two drum screws so that the microphone has the desired position
5. Insert the desired microphone into the holder
6. Adjust the height and angle of the microphone as needed

About Mic Holders

Mic Holders are small compact microphone holders that eliminate the need for (clumsy) microphone stands around your drum kit.

One part of the holder system is permanently mounted on the drum (or stand). The second part is the microphone holder itself - it is inserted into the fixed part of the holder system and thus completes the system.

With Mic Holders, it becomes both easy and fast to put the microphones on your drum kit. And just as important: to take them off quickly again.

Use your favorite microphones

With Mic Holders you can use standard microphones, as Mic Holders uses a standard microphone grip to hold the microphone. In practice, this means that you e.g. can have your Shure SM57 mounted - completely without microphone stands on the floor.

Built-in shock absorption

All models are born with a shock absorber - ie a shock absorber that ensures that vibrations from the drum do not propagate into the microphone.
