This model from Mic Holders is made to sit directly on your congas. The holder is mounted under one of the conga's tension rods (you decide which one) - and then the Mic Holder just sits there, ready when you need to use it.

How to mount Mic Holders for conga

1. Locate the tension rod you want to mount your Mic Holder with
2. Remove the nut
3. Insert the Mic Holder bracket over the screw
4. Move the nut back so that the conga is in tune again
5. Now insert the vertical part of the microphone holder into the newly mounted receiver
6. Insert the desired microphone into the holder
7. Adjust the height and angle of the microphone as needed

About Mic Holders

Mic Holders are small compact microphone holders that eliminate the need for (clumsy) microphone stands around your percussion setup.

One part of the holder system is permanently mounted on the drum (or stand) itself. The second part is the microphone holder itself - it is inserted into the fixed part of the holder system and thus completes the system.

With Mic Holders, it becomes both easy and fast to set up the microphones. And just as important: to take them off quickly again.

Use your favorite microphones

With Mic Holders, you can use standard microphones (such as the Shure SM57), as Mic Holders use a standard microphone grip to hold the microphone. In practice, this means that you e.g. can have your Shure SM57 mounted - completely without racks on the floor!

Built-in shock absorption

All models are born with a shock absorber - ie a shock absorber that ensures that vibrations from the drum do not propagate into the microphone.

Can be used for guitar amps

An alternative application for this conga microphone holder is to screw it to the front of a guitar or bass cabinet. This way, your cabinet can have a permanently mounted microphone holder, which saves you from another stand (or two) on stage.
