From the popular Copenhagen series, we have here a 21" light-ride that falls between the classic sizes of 20 and 22 inches, giving you a little bit of both worlds.
In terms of sound, we're in the bright side of "the dark spectrum" - if you can say it that way. The series consists of cymbals with a fundamentally dark sound, but this particular example has a slightly higher profile than average, which gives it some fine qualities in terms of cutting through the mix with a good stick articulation.
The cymbal also has good control, and it's actually not that easy to get it to wash out when playing on the surface with the tip of the drumstick.
This cymbal is one that will make you happy when you use it as a proper "time keeper" ride - especially for pop, rock, and beat music. Its tonal personality and good articulation come to the advantage of these mentioned styles.
