CymbalWorks Copenhagen 21" Light Crash

Here we have something as rare as a prototype cymbal. But a prototype cymbal that, based on this magnificent example, will become a reality – at some point.

The cymbal is a 21" Light Crash … in other words, a crash for light playing. And when you do, you’ll also discover that the cymbal is an excellent light ride.

Overall, it’s a delicate cymbal with many subtle tonal nuances. Whether you’re playing on a low-tuned vintage Ludwig kit or a high-tuned Gretsch set with an 18-inch bass drum, this cymbal lands with its fine sound in a sonically familiar place.

The cymbal is listed as a demo piece because I’ve tested it quite a bit. It, therefore, has a few more stick marks than usual.
