When we take a closer look at the Copenhagen series from CymbalWorks, it’s clear that these are seriously good crash cymbals.
They have a kind of hybrid character – a mix of hand-hammered B20 warmth and complexity, blended with the more “simple” and “plain” tone you might know from modern, machine-made cymbals. The result is a super versatile cymbal that suits all kinds of music and works for just about any drummer.
This particular crash from the Copenhagen series is 17 inches and weighs 1226 grams – and it sounds beautifully complex!
It’s also great for a bit of “funk-riding” (yes, we’re making up words now – but check out the demo and you’ll get it).
Rich, complex, and dynamic – a cymbal that ticks (almost) all the boxes for a 17” all-round crash!
