The hi-hats from the Collectables series are truly impressive. Especially if you’re into crisp, dark, and rounded hi-hats with highly dynamic behavior. This 14” pair is no exception!

This model features a relatively light top (802 grams) and a fairly solid bottom (1296 grams). The result is a hi-hat with excellent articulation, while still offering plenty of dynamics and nuances across the range from closed to open positions.

In terms of genre, these hi-hats are very versatile, as long as you appreciate a dark, mid-toned, and crisp sound. There’s not much high-end or “bell-like” brightness here – the feel is much softer and smoother.
