On your CRS holder, there is a protective silicone rubber sleeve. A sleeve that protects your cymbals from the metal rod that goes through the cymbal's hole.
At some point, it may be necessary to replace this protective rubber sleeve, as it can wear out over time. Both to maintain the warranty on your cymbals, but also to avoid the formation of so-called keyholes.
If you are facing a replacement, you have two options: Either the standard length which you are looking at here (3-pack), or the slightly longer version which you can find here.
Regardless, you will receive a fresh supply of the original, soft protective sleeves that were also on your CRS holder when you bought it.
(If your CRS holders are from before 2023, they likely have a harder and shorter type of sleeve installed from the factory).
The sleeves are made of a soft and luxurious silicone rubber material, which provides maximum softness and contributes to the more natural tone of your cymbals.
Each package contains, as mentioned, three sleeves, and they are carefully crafted to ensure optimal performance and sound.
Please note that these original CRS cymbal sleeves are made of soft silicone rubber to provide you with the softest and best fit. Therefore, the sleeves do not have quite the same durability as traditional sleeves made of hard plastic. However, the sonic benefits make the softer sleeves worth the (perhaps) slightly more frequent replacements.
Always make sure to replace them in time (CRS or not). With this 3-pack from CRS, you both protect your cymbals and maintain optimal resonance and sound quality.
