Anatolian JC Series 14" Chocolate Hihat

Here we have one of the very nice, light, and crisp hi-hats from Anatolian's JC Series.

Specifically, it's a 14-inch Chocolate Move Hi-Hat.

The cymbals aren't particularly thick. However, the unlathed surfaces provide a lot of control, influencing the sound in a dark direction.

The hi-hat articulates really nicely and also "swooshes" nicely when you close it with your foot. If you open it a bit, you'll feel good control over the many levels of "open" it offers. There's a lot to work with here!

Stylistically, you can use the hi-hat for a wide range of genres - maybe except for very hard rock and metal.
