Here we have a jazz ride from Anatolian's JC series with some slightly different tonal qualities. The fundamental sound is a little hollow - without sounding negative. In fact, it's very positive, as this tonal characteristic creates a special kind of space in the sound.
The cymbal has a light mid-range stick attack and a shimmering wash afterwards. As with most JC cymbals, they don't play too loudly, but you get a lot of tonal nuances in the range from very soft to medium-loud.
Another thing that is often repeated with these JC cymbals is that the bells are not very large, which is also the case here.
If you're looking for a crash/ride or a secondary ride for your jazz setup, this is an exciting and slightly different option.
The cymbal is fully lathed on the top and semi-lathed (grooved) on the underside.
