About FX Stack'ers

This Stack'r from Anatolian's FX series should be viewed as a tool for unrestricted creativity. In other words, there are no hard and fast rules regarding how you should use the stacker. (What is a cymbal stack? - click here)

On cymbals

Anatolian's stacker can be placed on top of other cymbals. To find the exact sound you're after, you can experiment by using different cymbals beneath the stacker.

As a hi-hat

You can also use two FX Stack'ers and combine them to create a super cool high-pitched auxiliary hi-hat. 

On drums

The stacker can also be placed on the drumhead of a snare drum to achieve an electro-like snare sound. In this regard, the stacker has an advantage over a splash cymbal due to its greater weight, which prevents it from bouncing off the drum.
