About the Baris series from Anatolian
Anatolian's Baris-series is legendary. Very quickly, the cymbals became hugely popular when they were introduced in 2002. The reason for this was that the Baris-series offered something completely new compared to other Turkish cymbals.
The sound
Contrary to most of the other Turkish cymbals, the cymbals from the Baris-series are less dark sounding, and the attack is clear and focused. Baris-cymbals are more dynamic, and they've got a lot of volume. Besides, the very sound of the Baris-cymbals is very "uncomplicated" and is particularly suited for gospel, hip-hop, R&B, pop/rock, and - not least - metal, and hard rock.
Simply put, Baris is a great choice for most genres!
